Perfect for spring, the Winnie shawl is a lovely lightweight accessory that you will want to wear to stave off the chill in the morning air. The shawl is knit with increases until the desired width is reached. Then, decreases are worked until you are ready to bind off.  The pattern is fun and rhythmic and will become a meditative knit.
The Winnie Shawl is a celebration of the wonderful collaboration between Koigu and Mont Tricot.  When I first opened the shop, I knew I wanted Koigu in my shop. Taiu, from Koigu, was a great help advising me on many aspects of opening a yarn shop. Fast forward many years later and we still love collaborating with each other.
**SIZE**
13 in deep x 75 in(33cm x 90cm) long, blocked 
The size is easily customizable by adding more yarn and continuing to make it larger. 
**GAUGE**
20 sts x  24 rows = 4” / 10 cm blocked knit stockinette flat
gauge is not critical but may impact finished dimensions and yarn quantities required

4.50 (7US) circular needles

Colour A: Winnie by Koigu, 1 skein, 300 yards, 100 gr. Approx 65 gr used for the shawl, color in sample 5162
Colour B: Winnie by Koigu, 1 skein, 300 yards, 100 gr. Approx 65 gr used for the shawl, color in sample Romance in the Weeds
Some kits may include Minna from Koigu which is a sportweight with merino and cashmere.

Le châle se tricote en augmentant jusqu’à atteindre la largeur souhaitée. Ensuite, on diminue jusqu’à ce que l’on soit prêt à rabattre les mailles. Le motif est ludique et rythmé, et ce tricot deviendra une véritable expérience méditative.
Le châle Winnie célèbre la merveilleuse collaboration entre Koigu et Mont Tricot.  Lorsque j’ai ouvert ma boutique, je savais que je voulais proposer des produits Koigu. Taiu, de chez Koigu, m’a été d’une grande aide en me conseillant sur de nombreux aspects liés à l’ouverture d’une boutique de laine. Plusieurs années plus tard, nous apprécions toujours autant de collaborer ensemble.

Vous pouvez facilement adapter la taille en ajoutant davantage de laine pour agrandir le châle.
