Tukuwool Fingering is a unique fingering weight wool yarn from Finland. The woolen spun two-ply yarn is twisted tightly but gently to create a light and lively yarn for an enjoyable knitting experience. The versatile yarn is designed for various types of knits such as mittens, cardigans, shawls and more.
We have slightly renewed the yarn base. The changes enable the smoother quality and a softer hand feel. We managed to keep the density change so small that the previous knitting patterns designed for Tukuwool Fingering are also suitable for the renewed yarn.
Tukuwool yarns are spun and dyed in Finland using 100% Finnish wool - including Finnsheep, Kainuu Grey and crossbreeds from Finland.

Tukuwool Fingering est un fil de laine finlandais unique, de type « fingering ». Ce fil à deux brins, filé à la laine, est torsadé de manière serrée mais délicate, ce qui lui confère une texture légère et vive, pour un tricot des plus agréables. Polyvalent, il est conçu pour divers types d'ouvrages, tels que des mitaines, des cardigans, des châles et bien plus encore.
Nous avons légèrement renouvelé la base du fil. Ces modifications lui confèrent une qualité plus lisse et un toucher plus doux. Nous avons réussi à limiter la variation de densité à un niveau si faible que les modèles de tricot précédemment conçus pour Tukuwool Fingering conviennent également au fil renouvelé.
Les fils Tukuwool sont filés et teints en Finlande à partir de laine 100 % finlandaise, notamment de Finnsheep, de Kainuu Grey et de croisements finlandais.
